The Smith & Wesson 1st Response SWFR is a decent rescue knife. It has a drop point blade, glass breaker and seatbelt cutter. So it's a very beneficial tool in emergency situations. You can use the thumb stud to open it smoothly with one hand, and then a liner lock locks it in place.
The blade is made from 7Cr17MoV steel, a stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. The handle is made from stainless steel with G10 inlays. G10 is a strong composite material that feels great in hand.
