The Gerber Truss is a robust all-rounder.
With no less than 17 functions the Gerber Truss can be used for any task!
For the Truss Gerber paid a lot of attention to reducing the weight.
With 235 grams the Truss is lighter than most models, while the Truss has more functions in general.
Compared to its predecessor, the Suspension, the Truss contains 5 more tools!
The Truss is enhanced with an additional wire stripper, medium-sized flathead screwdriver, ruler and awl.
When opened all tools are locked by the locking mechanism in the handle.
As such you can safely use the Truss.
You can open the pliers with the butterfly mechanism.
Because of the spring the beak of the pliers automatically open, unlike most multi-tools where you need to open the pliers by hand.
As such you won't wear out your hand as you use the tool.
The tip is small enough for precise work, such as bending fish hooks or removing splinters.
The beak has been enhanced with small serrations that offer you additional grip.
The spine of the beak is rounded to make sure you can easily move around in narrow spaces and bend the wire.
The Truss comes with a solid nylon sheath.
The sheath can be worn both vertically and horizontally on your belt for quick and easy access to your multi-tool.
This sheath is Molle compatible.
This means you can also attach it to a Molle vest or backpack.
